A drummer since the age of four, Jason has played professionally for more than 20 years. For eight years, starting in 1982, Jason played up and down the U.S East Coast performing many styles of music including rock, country, and cover tunes. Jason toured and recorded with the band 'Nantucket' from 1986 until 1989.

In 1990 Jason teamed up with guitarist Audley Freed and bassist Robert Kearns to form the band Cry Of Love. After an extensive search for the right singer, and on the strength of their self produced demo, the band was signed by Columbia Records in 1991. Jason was the Drummer for Cry of Love right up until their split in 1997.

In Sep 1999, Jason moved to Austin,TX and joined The Chris Duarte Group. In the same year, Jason played at Warren Haynes' legendary annual Xmas jam with the original members of COL. In Oct 2000,suddenly without a bass player, ex-COL member Robert Kearns was drafted into the CDG at Jason's suggestion.

In Dec 2001, after one album and extensive touring Jason left Chris Duarte and moved to Greenville NC. Back-pain prevented Jason from continuing on the road although he occupied the CDG drumstool again in Apr 2002 for a few shows.

In 2003 Jason joined long-time friends 'Cirkus'(founded in 1978) to assist a re-formation and was replaced by Dave Cook in 2004.

In 2005 Jason became touring drummer for Corrosion Of Conformity, in the support slot for Motorhead, and continued with the band on their headlining tour in June and July 2005 with Crowbar supporting. Jason also occupies the drumstool for old friends Nantucket, playing in the several shows a year that they do.

Sep 2005 saw Jason touring in the US with young guitarist 'Jason Leroy Christensen', a member of the band 'ScarletRunner'.

As of March 2007, Jason has finished touring with COC for the "Arms of God" album and has been writing and jamming with members of the band whilst Pepper Keenan spends time on his other collaboration, 'Down'.

Jason can also be seen playing in the Eastern NC area with 'The Johnny Dollar Band' and 'The Whiz Kids'.
